Well folks, for your enjoyment,

fluorescent lighting became the driver.
Relish these while they last as working neon is becoming a rare
treat indeed. I'll bet
people thought I was a homeless weirdo
because I was talking to myself, but each gif is carefully timed by using
a digital voice recorder
as I sat there watching the neon muttering to myself: "On...off...on...off..."
or in
the case of the Moody's Jewelry sign, "one-two-three-off...
one-two-three-off...one-two-three-off..."
